I think its funny when one side screams "Social medicine doesn't work" yet we are the only industrial nation in the world that doesn't have social medicine and we pay the most and get the worst results... If i catch a cold with no Health Ins in the US it will cost me 3-400 to get an appt, xrays, 2 and 3 meds etc... I travel all over the world every week. I got sick in China last year, it cost me about 10 dollars to see the doctor and get my antibiotics, cough meds and decongestants... And the meds came from Canada and the US...
It's embarassing and sad the in the US we don't have a national healthcare system.

Isn't it true that in a free health care system, it takes forever to get even routine work done? Also when would heathcare ever be truly free in America? They would just find a way to tax us even more to pay for it in the long run.
