Had him on my weekly podcast, www.ironradio.org, perhaps a year or a little more ago. GREAT guy. Have met him several times and I think the world of him. A real man with character and heart.

He still wakes each morning at some ungodly hour to work out with his wife and local friends at the barn gym in behind his house.

but don't forget, pearl only used 5mg a day once, and that was in twilight of his career! What are you gonna do, its not like he's gonna come out in Ironman and say "I used boatloads of orals and everything I could get my hands on!" No, that would not work out well...
Its the done thing, downplay the juice as the finishing 5% touch

The man had a great physique, I'm glad to hear he's a good person too
