agree there are pocktes of the generation that are fucked but mainly by their own doing.
thats bullshit the whole generation is getting shafted, those that got jobs should be doing bigger and better things, its not about the individual its about the generation, and the county as a whole.

The economy will come back but yes the govt does need to go a long way in becoming more business friendly so we can keep those jobs here instead of sending them abroad. Redo the tax system and start to cut govt spending in areas where its inefficient and underproductive. When the economy gets going again start to cut it everywhere.

I'm so sick of these emotion based arguments. The fact is the american government is so corrupted and in debt its hard to imagine some miracle cure. It would seem more than likely that America is on the decline, a long term progress. There's no quick fix, the labor pool of the world, has exploded in the last decade thanks to the IT revolution. America has lost most of its advantages, and has a long list of problems. Inefficient demand for energy, a investment class that has no desire to invest locally, A poor class that are as stupid as they are trapped.
The top it off a group of people that are too obsessed with finance to realize that we don't just need sound economic planning, but something a little more. We need new ideas and shit to compete, and the people that can do that are usually the younger generation. America has basically gone up shit on that one.
