I loved the part where Fredo told Michael that he was upset that he was passed over for the position of Don in the family

Michael: "It's the way pa wanted it".

Fredo: "But it's not the way I wanted it...I'm smart........not like how everyone says...."

"... like DUMB!"

Also at the end of Godfather III he is sitting in the Garden and drops dead like his father did....in the end, all that stuff he did to people, all the killing, killing his own brother...getting his own daughter killed.....it meant nothing in the end...you get old..and you die..thats it...and he died alone and suffering for all that he did
Wow, the daughter dying was his Karma

What do you think Vito would say about killing Fredo?  In my opinion there's your answer.  Michael went too far and that's why he ended up the way he did.
Come at me Bro!

There was no part III.

I refuse to acknowledge that movie.

Same thing he told Sonny...."you never take sides against the family".

It does pale by comparison, but not a bad flick.........can`t hold a candle to the other two though.

Wes, in college I once spent an entire day in bed watching Godfather I and II, Goodfellas and A Clockwork Orange with this girl who was 5'9" milky skin, great legs and ass (small boobs), and okay face.  It was a moviefuckfest like no other.
LOL  ;D

Great flicks, and she sounds pretty nice too !  ;)

EDIT:  If you threw Casino in there too,you coulda` came without even fucking her!  :D

She was very nice.
A girl who is far more attractive than her facial looks would suggest, if you understand.  She was sexy as hell and cool to boot.

It didn't hurt my opinion of her that I once got her drunk and joked about anal sex, and she said:  "I've never tried that.  Have you?"
Me:  "Not yet."

Her:  "you won't be able to say that tomorrow."

:D

Definitely.   Fredo was the weak link.   You saw how pussified he was compared to his brothers.  He was like the retarded son with a dash of feminine tendencies.  The Corleone jester.

He had to go.

This.

He didn't have a choice.  He was a victim of his position.  That's what The Godfather series is about.

Also loved the part in Godfather One where Sonny sees that his sister was beat up by her husband and he gets so angry he bites his own hand,,,then he goes out in the street and absolutely destroys his brother in law...I love the part also when the brother-law was trying to hold on to some bars and sonny bit his hand so he would let go.....classic street fight...
Sonny was a crazy mother-fucker!!!!....however his temper was his downfall in the end

He also bites the brother in law's hand in that scene too lol to get him to let go of the railing so he can beat his ass some more lol  loved Sonny!

The only thing I loved about part 3 was the end when Michael is all old and dies on that lawn chair, I dunno why was just  such a simple scene but yet so powerful, lives a crazy life with a dramatic tragedy when he loses his daughter then like everyone else he just dies on his lawn chain.

yes that was my favourite part, although Sonny gets it bad, the successor came from his lineage after Michael, Vincent (Andy Garcia) in part 3 was Sonny's son. If you guys remember when Sonny is banging some girl against the door at the beginning of part 1, that is Vincents mom
