I guess he is a pretty good fighter in his own right. However, I do agree with you and also have a dislike for the man. He for sure always thinks he's the toughest guy in the ring at any given time which is silly.

  Even though PRIDE was a billion fold better than the UFC, the one thing the UFC always had that was better than PRIDE was Big John...

  People get pissed at him because he gives the impression that he thinks he is so tough, but what you guys need to understand is that an MMA judge needs to give the impression to the fighters that if push comes to shove he will impose his decisions by force if necessary. This is silly in fights involving LHWs and HWs since any LHW or HW could destroy him with ease, but John is a big guy and his presence is imposing to the lower weight class divisions.
