A Vote against Romney in Primary is Vote for Obama

I know they want the comfort of choosing a candidate, but rushing to pick one that the majority of the GOP votes AGAINST is a terrible idea.  This enthusiasm gap for a moderate was VERY clear in 2008, when 18% of GOP voters from 2004 just plain stayed home.  Even though obama had Rev wright, etc... 1 in 5 repub voters just didn't bother!

If repubs hate obama THAT bad, it won't matter if they pick a guy now, or 2 months from now.

Really, Morris should be telling NEWT to get out of the race.  If newt woudl nominate Santorum, then Santorum would probably win the nomination.  Sure he's a psycho and a zealout, but that's damn good tv.

I know that romney was polling at 29% or so for the last year - pretty clear sign that 3/4 of the party doesn't like him.
Pretty common konwledge that 18% of the GOP 04 ovoters skipped 2008.  Either palin's ignorance or mccain's RINOism. 

I dont know that romney having it 'in the bag' is a good thing.  He's outspending Santorum 6-to-1 and squeaking out wins.  He will NOT have a 6-to-1 money adcantage over obama

IMO, if newt gets out, it's a brokered convention, and maybe it's a Santorum/Romney ticket, or maybe a Jeb/ROmney ticket.  Romney is young - he can do his time then try to run as VP. But in this political climate, him acting like a conservative just isn't geniuine.


And to be fair, repubs defended morons like cain or trump for the last year.  They really need to know when to call a dog a dog, and just dismiss a candidate.  Romney isn't what they believe him.  He's underachieving against santorum.  let that convention choose Jeb+Romney and destroy obama.

THere is no chance of a brokered convention. THere is no way in hell these candidates are going to let someone else come in and take the nomination. Not after having 20 fucking debates and the first proportional delegate nominating process. That would be a disaster for the GOP and the right wing talk show hosts who keep drumming up that silly thought are pissing me off.

There is a bit of a chance of a contested convention, but the math doesnt even support that.

Media has real problem with Romney.  I don't get why he didn't make it last time.  He is almost flawless canddiate.  Massive success and not too bible crazy like Santorum.  I think Ron Paul would make best president.  I don't get why media won't give Romney his due, he has been massively ahead for weeks now and thee media acts like Santorum is about to catch him.  I wonder if it is because everyone knows he will nuke Obama in a debate.  I think 80% of republicans love Romney.  I don't get these weird stats claiming people don't like him.  Weird.  The health care thing is easily explained: States are allowed to experiment and the feds can't do it because any power not in the constitution falls to the states!! Duh!! basic 8th grade government class stuff that most democrats simply ignore in thier mad grasp for power.  I think the population will vote heavily to move away from the failed obama communist/fascist experiment.

Also, Mass. wanted it. When you are governor of a deep blue state, you cant govern the way you can in Texas. Romney balanced the budget in Mass. without raising tax rates. His record in Mass. is more conservative than Reagan's record in California.

So all those polls showing Romney beating or running even with Obama mean what then? That a lot of Dems like him? Not looking good for your God-King if he's polling over 50% with only 25% of his base supporting him.
