Thanks. I understand that there are larger forces at work. I'm just questioning why some people absolve the people who actually do the killing, as if they're mentally inferior(dont understand what they're actually doing) or that they're child-like people who aren't culpable.
I think they should be shot as well.
What one poacher-hunter is doing is recruiting from the very villages where the poachers come from, before they become poachers. And show them how to protect the animlas and hunt poachers.
The problem with the Elephant's tusks is that it has a nerve, so if you cut out the tusk or hack it out, the elephant gets an infection and many times dies.
Rhino horns, one can saw it off, and it will grow back, but poachers hack it off.
The main thing is stopping the demand for it, but a lot of these Asian countries have a fuck you atitude to nature. Every damn thing is "good for libido". They put holes in captive black bears and drain out bile.
In China, the South Chinese tiger is on the verge of extinction---this tiger is thought to be the root tiger for Tiger subspecies. Well, it is protected and resides in a reserve. In this reserve is a restaurant. And guess what they serve? Tiger penis...the evil fuckers serve tiger penis! These animals are almost extinct, but you will kill them, just to serve some dish that is "suppose to help the libido"?
