Sorry Coach,
but unless you find something credible or just stop ignoring the debunks, this birther thread is destined for the CT board.
In a letter dated March 22, Richard S. Flahavan, Associate Director of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs with the Selective Service System responded to Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s request for an investigation of Obama’s selective service registration. Flahavan wrote:
This Agency has no evidence that President Obama’s 1980 registration is not authentic. However, if you have any credible evidence to the contrary and believe that a Federal crime has been committed, we suggest that it be turned over immediately to the Federal Bureau of Investigation to pursue.
Its tough being a Birther.
Here's a summary of some of their follies:
The newspaper announcements of Obama’s birth in Honolulu, something devastating to the birther mythology, were found by a birther!
A birther got the infamous tape of Obama’s grandmother saying she was present (somewhere) when Obama was born—a tape that in its entirety emphatically states the the President was born in Hawaii, where his father was living.
A birther article at The Daily Pen about a 1962 INS report led to the discovery that no US citizen departed from Kenya and arrived by plane in the US during the entire year ending June 30, 1962, covering the period when the birthers claim Obama’s mother gave birth in Kenya and flew back to the US.
Birthers citing a Hawaiian statute on the registration of out-of-state births led to the discovery that the law was passed in 1982, thereby eliminating the possibility that such registrations were authorized before then.
Birther Donald Trump finally raised so much media attention that Obama released his long-form birth certificate, cutting the ranks of the birthers almost in half.
Birthers digging in the Immigration files of Lolo Soetoro and Barack Obama Sr. uncovered contemporary references to Obama’s birth in Honolulu and a State Department report stating that Obama was born in Honolulu.
(birther backfires)
Now, we have further confirmation of that, from a statistical report of persons entering the United States. Surprisingly only one alien embarked from Kenya and traveled to the United States by air in the entire year ending June 30, 1962. Wow! Only 1 in a whole year: That kind of travel was REALLY UNCOMMON! Since President Obama would have been an alien under US law had he been born in Kenya, he and his alien father could not have both arrived in the US by air. (Please don’t look at the following chart YET—it’ll spoil the surprise.)
http://archive.org/stream/annualreportofim1962unit#page/74/mode/1upSo the story gets complicated with no father in the picture. The birthers have concocted an alternative out of whole cloth. They now say that Ann Dunham made the trip to Kenya alone to give the baby up for adoption. That way, baby Barack could have been the only alien. It’s complicated for all the other reasons of the original story, but it requires a reason for adoption. One reason given for the adoption is that Ann Dunham’s family was outraged by their daughter having a mixed-race child.
Add that to the fact that Obama Sr.’s father was furious at his son for marrying a white woman. That’s really complex.
But the greatest complexity of all is not only was it impossible for Barack Obama Sr. to have flown to the United States with his new-born son. It was also impossible for his mother to have flown home either,
because according to the INS report, a total of ZERO US citizens arrived in the United States from Kenya by air for the entire year ending June 30, 1962.OK birthers, dump the air travel. You’ve got to by sea. Or maybe via Canada, yeah, Canada. Ann Obama traveled on her husband’s British passport—oops, he wasn’t there.
