Not much of an owning.  Benton is predicting they will have a plurality in at least five states before the convention.  I'll be shocked if that happens.

He also mentioned Texas and California as being in play with over 300 delegates.  Ron Paul is way behind in both states.

I'm not kidding, although I am ABO, Ron Paul is the only one I would take a bullet for to vote for in November.

Myth, Saint Rick, and Newt are a freaking joke.

Cant believe it has come to this.

Tell me BB, how will the delegates from Iowa be apportioned? How about Minnesota? Nevada? Colorado? Washington? Missouri? Louisiana? etc.

Hint: None of these have been decided yet, and Ron Paul's superior grassroots organization still stands a chance.

It comes to this in pretty much every election.  A collection of mediocre candidates.

We can do better than all four left in the race.  But any one of them would be better than Obama.

Iowa:  7, 7, 7, 2
Minnesota:  25, 9, 2, 1
Nevada:  14, 6, 5, 3

Pretty easy to figure it out:  http://www.cnn.com/election/2012/primaries/state/nv

Better than wasting your vote on Obamalite, aka Myth/Frothy.

Gary Johnson has a better record than myth.

Gary Johnson has the best fucking record out there. Ron Paul comes close and beats Gary Johnson on consistency/principles, but Johnson come close to the consistency/principles of Ron Paul while having a track record of pwning shit as the chief executive of a state. He had more vetoes as New Mexico Governor than the Governors of the other 49 states combined. He was elected as a Republican in a state where the Democrats held a 2-to-1 advantage in terms of voter registration AND he was re-elected by a larger margin after he actually cut spending, cut taxes, and cut the scope of government - something Myth Romney can never lay claim to. Gary Johnson is the fucking man. Now only if he could get 15% in the polls in a few months, he'll be able to get on the debate stage and run shit all over Obama and whoever the GOP chooses to be Obamalite.

Because the votes have already been cast, and the votes on primary/caucus day always determine the outcome.

Voting for a libertarian candidate is flushing your vote down the toilet.  I'll take the guy who has a legit shot to beat Obama.

The votes do not determine the outcome. At best, they can predict it. But the caucuses and the conventions have always been open to being utilized by a superior organization... an organization that only two campaigns have: the Romney campaign due to its superior finances and the Ron Paul campaign due to its superior grassroots organization.

Has the LP ever had a former Governor on its ticket?

Dude you're dreaming.  Will never happen.  Like I said in the other thread, you can make the same argument about the electoral college not following the general election results.  That's a pipe dream.

And even if it did happen, they're not going to nominate the guy who came in last place.

GOP is in trouble.

mitt is underachieving.  He's outspending santorum in a huge way, to squeak out wins.
18% of GOP stayed home in 2008.  Because of a RINO, right?   Well, you got one again.

Obama sucks, but the GOP has a shitty offering in Romney.   Santorum would be worlds better.  You give him EQUAL money to romney, and he is WRECKING obama.

I'll take that as a "no."   :)

I have no idea if they ever had a former governor on their ticket.  But Gary Johnson never got above 1 percent while running for president.  How the heck is he going to break double digits nationally?

After he dropped out of the GOP race and started running for the LP nomination, PPP had him polling at 9% in a three-way race between himself, Obama, and Romney. Getting up to 15% is a strong possibility. And after getting in the debates, there is a (admittedly small) possibility of actually winning the election.

I would vote for Gj over myth since  NY is an Obama drone state as it is.
