That's because many latinos are white ,many latinos are black and many latinos are indian ...........etc.
Where I worked before, the Indian ones---From Mexico and central America were commonly entered in as white. Where I work now, they are entered in a "unknown", now what really effs things up, is when you ask a black Latino, like a Dominican what race is "so and so", and they look at you like you have four heads, and say "Hispanic", and the person in question is black , like Vic Martinez black, then you have to explain the FBI criteria, and say, what does he closely resemble, then they say "Black".
