Nothing wrong with a quick source check IMO, but it needs to be on the AAS board. This thread is just an echo of what he has been saying for months now. There is nothing new here. This is pointless on a board that has ZERO involvement in sources. In fact, sources aren't even allowed to post here for that reason(i'm sure some do under a different name). Sure there are guys doing stuff in the background, but once it's out in the open they are banned. They should post this on PM or AB, but they can't because it would be removed in SECONDS. WE are trying to be nice and let some of this fly, but it's just getting stupid at this point and most people on GB don't give two shits about this stuff so it gets moved here. This isn't an open source board and any discussion of sources is at the Mod's discretion. It really boils down to the fact that GB wants nothing to do with sources and the only way to keep that under control is to not allow it to be posted openly. I personally don't mind someone asking if "so and so" is legit or not. But we are enforcing the rules more because for every action their is a reaction and lately all of this is getting out of hand. The other problem is that one person asks if "so and so" is ok and then it turns into a 17 page argument over who is the best source and best prices and best shipping and best labels and best payment options...it all leads downhill. Years ago we talked openly about sources, but i was very restricted and people actually followed the rules. These days it's just a mess of agendas and lies, on both sides. When stuff like this is posted on the G&O it is either deleted or moved here. Like i have been saying for months now, they can create their own board and post this for the world to see. I think most of us realize that isn't going to happen, so it's being controlled on this board since they can't figure out how to make a website in less than 6 months. This just isn't the place for this type of activity. GB has never allowed this type of activity, EVER. |
