This is how Alicia Silverstone feeds her 10-month-old son -- chewing up food in her mouth ... then spitting it directly into his ... like a bird.

Alicia posted the video on her blog this weekend, claiming it's her "favorite" way to feed her son Bear Blu (that's his name ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)). Alicia adds, "He literally crawls across the room to attack my mouth if I’m eating."

It's unclear why she does this -- there's probably some hippie-dippie explanation about the bacteria in her mouth helping to strengthen her kid's immune system ... or something -- but she never explains why herself.

For the record -- Alicia's a staunch vegan ... and she's raising her son vegan too. Mother knows best?

According o Desmond Morris in the popular documentary the human animal, scientists hypothesis that the origins of kissing come from that method of baby feeding. So that "bitch" ain't all that crazy.

Freud states all males and females first love  Is their mother o course there should come a time when the child is around 3-4 where the mother breaks it up and sets boundaries. But a baby is fair game for mommy and if you had a mother you felt the same way ... Trust me tuff guy.

its really old shit, she said in an interview a long time ago, that when he was a kid about 5years old or so, she would have her playboy mags laying around in the open in  her house and didnt mind her son looking thru them, even said once that she would sleep in the nude in bed and her son at time would sleep with her he was already in his teens

I didn't chew, but I most definitely would bite off very small bites for my daughter. I felt like a bird but understood why they do it.
