Its is probably a film that appeals to a bigger range of people than most others. Also it is an excellent and well made film.

Good movie, but not even close to being the greatest movie.  There is no such thing as "The greatest movie" because it is all subjective.

I always classed Shawshank and godfather as my number 1, way before imdb even existed, with pulp fiction and goodfellas a tier below.Never understood the fascination with Godfather 2 though, its a good film but all the Cuba shit in its really drags it down.
