BEST beer I personally ever tried while being posted in Europe (military days) was AMSTEL from Holland.  Absolutely amazing flavor... ;)

used to do something similar with honeybrown and ace pear and youre right that is a damn good drink.

Ill have to make it a point to do that again here pretty soon.
