Are animal packs better than taking individual vitamins & minerals. since they are already in a pack for you? Is that worth the extra money.

If you can get em for a good deal....but probably not. I got a multi that's almost as good, for 5 bucks less, except the kicker is that there's 5 times as many servings per container.
I'd say no, unless you've got a big budget and want to make the Pak your "marquee" supplement.

Check out the grocery stores. I've found a Tom Thumb brand Men's multi that is a copycat of GNC's Megamen's vit. for $9 a bottle, sometimes $7 on sale. Lasts @ 2 months.

I've been using the Pak for years. Good stuff. It has a more advanced blend of nutrients than your average multi. It is far better suited to the demands of a hard trainer than your average centrum type multi.

So then what's the difference in requirements between someone who trains and someone who doesn't? How much more Vit. C or Selenium does your body need because you train to failure? Don't get me wrong, I think Centrum is basically crap, but Animal Paks are way over-priced and over-hyped compared to a quality multi that costs a third as much

I would think the free radicals and cortisol released by hard training definitely necessitates potent doses of antioxidants.

I've used Animal Paks for years and love the things. Read the label and compare, very complete and convenient. Very affordable as well if you shop around on the web.
