It's funny cuz alot of people think this is Arnold. Gotta love the scene when Ed and Arnold are doing squats, Ed racks the bar and basically passes out....

I still say those old school dumbbells that Robbie was chest flying were the coolest looking ones. How about the guy doing the shoulder presses with the old universal? I haven't actually used one of those since middle school.

Negative. It's the 1st chapter from The book Pumping Iron.  I thought I linked the entire book, but perhaps it's only the 1st chapter.

Here's the cover of the First Edtion. Later printings may have a different cover pic.

Damn, I used to have that and then went and sold it on Ebay for a pittance. Good book though.

i bet you there is not a single person on getbig that would like to trade places with Arnold in the prime, can you imagine what kind of a high that must have been for him fuck the winning but the contant new things the excitement of getting somewhere.

These are the days I am fully aware that i am wasting my life.

Can you imagine how hard it must be for arnold to look into the mirror or remembering the good days?

If anything watch the last 10 minutes...interview with Arnie and alot of lies in the movie

* Ken Waller did not steal Katz's shirt, football field footage was shot after the "O"...
* Arnold's Dad did not die right before a competition, he stole this line from another BBer

Very interesting

Where was Serge Nubret in this?  Not even a mention, just a couple of screen shots?

Meh I think this hero cult is getting a bit old, sure I'd love to be rich and shit, but his glory years really peaked by about 25, There's a long list of rich people I'd rather be.

That being said, I'm jealous of fat alex, so who knows.

They probably filmed at least half or more of the IFBB Mr. Universe, in which Zane competed because it was held over the same period as the Olympia.
