what counts , is what's in the books! lol... and that is that YATES was an UNDEFEATED mr Olympia.
he defeated Ronnie during his reign, and remained undefeated! the following 2 mr Olympias could not copy that , lol!! ronnie was defeated during his O reign, as was Cutler.and yes Ronnie in his prime was bigger, and rounder then Yates.... Yates was however far more conditioned. it's comparing oranges and apples....
another thing about yates, yates needed to be seen IN PERSON... pics do not do the man justice....
i just like Yates his physique more so, as i think a bb needs to be shredded beyond believe with mass and be as complete as possible....you can say what you want about Yates, but he had NO real weak points, he did not have the prettiest arms, but they were huge.... he did have the worlds most awesome back.... up to this day.... not just size wise, but conditioning wise.... CRAZY!
a 93 yates for me is where Bodybuilding should be.... PERFECT
Ronnie i think looked his best when he first won the show.... but it's all personal really ...
btw charles clairmont is a very very good bb.... never got a fair look.....
