This never worked well for me. Every shot was like the worst quad shot of my life over and over again. I know a few guys who shoot calves, but i know some crazy people. To answer your question, 5/8" is fine if you are lean.  |

i hit em once a week with 1 cc of tren each week(outer head). slin pin before a calf workout. youll get used to it after a month. |

same here, except being stupid i did 2 calf shots in one day (my first ever calf shot)...both were swollen and red, might have been celulitus, but eventually went away on its own..never saw a doc, and the gear didnt give me cellulitius anywhere else so it wasnt't dirty gear. for 1.5 week i could not walk, they got so swollen, went down into my ankle, into my feet, then left my body. worst pain ever, imagine hostel the movie where they cut the guys achillies tendon, thats what it felt like to stand up each morning, once your walking around you limp and its not too horrible, but every time you stand up,,takes 1 full minute to stand and take a step, hurt so fucking bad |

I pin calves all the time but I always do both. 23guage 1.5 inch. I do them once a week 2 hours before training them.
