Platz looks seriously weird: why does he wear a jacket that is three sizes too large, and trousers that are about 5 inches too long?

Because he's cheap.  Maybe he's planning another cycle and thinks he'll grow back into them.

I met Platz once in the late 80's... he acted strange and seemed very moody.
