I can think of a number of situations where I felt someone was following me and I can safely say not a single one of them ended in a fight. Ol' Trayvon should have been the bigger man and went on his way but he had to "REPRESENT".

Assume what you want. Youre the one bringing race into the issue here. Assuming the kid was white and he attacked a black kid, had the black kids head slamming into the concrete and the black kid shot him, pretty sure no one would be complaining. That scenario is pretty rare in today's America, thats why it never comes up. It simply doesnt occur nearly as much as the other way around, thats a statistical fact. I think it was something like a white man is 100x more likely to get killed by a black man than the other way around.

So i dont have the REASONS you would attribute my view of this situation to. I never said this guy should be hanged .I just said that in a case where someone lie dead, and there are no eye witnesses to vouch for self defense AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT. The killer is usually arrested and an investegation follows. Dude we had one side of the story, and it took 48 days for this guy to be arrested.

Never said there wasnt lots of white on black crime. Im talking about white on black MURDER. A white man is something like 100x more likely to be killed by a black man than vice versa. Again not a race thing - culture. And your assuming im hanging some kid out to dry because of his skin color - when its exactly the opposite. Im giving the guy that defended himself (from the evidence collected) the benefit of the doubt.
If the situation was reversed it would be exactly the same.

I grew up in a small town with a small black population. But the black population were all very civilised, well educated guys - we never looked at them any different than any other friends.
It wasnt until I moved to Houston for school that I started really seeing the "black culture" that glorified violence and crime. Thats why I said its not a race thing - its a culture thing. Your taking this kids side because you associate with him. You can see yourself being him. But that doesnt mean he made the same choices you did or was a good guy like you.

The way I look at this - if I was to take the evidence away - is that everyone is responsible for his or her own choices. The dude didnt like Zimmerman following him - thats fine. You dont attack some dude because he's eyeballing you. He could still be alive if he made the right choices - but he didnt. The world doesnt operate on a "I dont like what youre doing right now, it makes me uncomfortable so im going to get violent" basis.
