training while in fasting state and rest time between sets
« on: April 11, 2012, 02:58:08 AM »
I have noticed the rep numbers are lower, and a longer rest time is useful between sets. but still I heard this supposed to be useful to train before breakfast and or no carbohydrates like Dave Palumbo says right?

why is this good to do?

So the milkman can slip inside the house and service your moms while you're in the basement passing out from doing curls on an empty stomach.

 ;D

empty stomach is everything

btw I don't see why you would pass out. I'm doing 150 to 200 reps of dumbbells shoulder presses, 100 bent over shrugs, that's it. i have never passed out.

cybergenecis pushed this idea way back in the 80s, nothing new here

in fact, they also pushed the concept of IF and carb cycling

Rest at least 5-10 days between intense sets.

don't know if it played a role in this but after resuming eating and training normal the next day I had better leg training than last time

112 reps of lunges for each leg in sets of 20 with short rest
