I wish George Zimmerman a fair trial.

I believe that Zimmerman acted in self defense. I believe he walked away from Trayvon Martin and that Martin then approached him, at which time a fight broke out.

Zimmerman's nose was broken and the back of his head had a huge knot on it that could be seen in the video, taken AFTER he had been cleaned up. These injuries had to have happened before the fatal shot was fired. I believe medical records will prove Zimmerman's injuries.

Something that really clinched things for me, was when the funeral man spoke of Martin's body not having any other evidence of a fight (no other injuries). If Zimmerman had started the physical fight and been the aggressive one there would have been other injuries on Martin.

When I put together the injuries to Zimmerman, the lack of other injuries to Martin (before the fatal gun shot) and the 9/11 calls from people witnessing the on-the-ground fight, I could not help but conclude that Zimmerman acted in self-defense.

Note: Being followed by a neighborhood watch man is not grounds to physically attack the neighborhood watch man. If Zimmerman was really out to just shoot Martin he would have had his gun out and Martin would never have gotten a punch in, much less been able to pound Zimmerman's head into the ground.
