you cannot "demonstrate" shit to anyone you dummy

It's like a bunch of blind people putting together a "Seeing challenge" for 1.3 million for any person who can demonstrate to the blind that they can see.

Get it? You are blind my friend.

So what you are saying is that you don`t have any powers whatsoever.  Thanks for confirming what we all already knew.

What I am saying is VERY simple and clear. You have ZERO argument for what I wrote. I know it and you know it. I am the Lion King and you are a blind chimp. Go bake an American Pie and stick your 4 1/2 incher in it you dumbo eared queer.

I have no direct experience with ouija boards - but I do suspect that psychologically damaged people probably shouldn't go near them.

An acquaintance of mine - a girl who was on the periphery of my group of friends at uni, went completely batshit berserk after a ouija experience. Her and some friends - including a couple of my friends - had a session. My friends said weird stuff happened - doors slamming and curtains moving - but they were also drinking and thought it could have been imagination as well. They left early on. This girl though - she wound up in a psych facility and has been there ever since as far as I know (this was 1992 - last I heard about her was 2007 and she was still there).

I didn't know her well so I have no way of knowing if she had some predisposing mental condition, but all talk of the supernatural aside, it's not the sort of shit you should be playing with if you don't know for certain that your psychologically robust.

You see the paradox here- You want to charge people for a service that you can`t even demonstrate.  Might as well go ahead and charge to see the Goblin Hordes at Yellowstone or the Zombies in Pensacola.  Those things must exist too because you can`t prove they don`t right?

You=Grade A moron.

Ghosts, ouiji boards, hauntings.

People.  Please.  This stuff isn't true.  When you die, it's lights out.  Period.  There are no ghosts that come back to haunt you, etc.

All things "spooky" that happen come from our minds.  Nothing more.  Sometimes it can't be explained... but this doesn't automatically mean supernatural beings or ghosts.

i snort my coke off it

its quite the conversation piece

Lol, I like your style.

That's a funny thing about coke and the way it changes your perception.... it takes all the 'spookiness' out of things. Years ago I bought a house that everyone said was haunted. Everyone that spent time there said they felt a presence there, and claimed to have seen or heard things. Many people said they saw people in the mirrors in the master bedroom, and that it felt like something was watching them from the high ceilings. It was a very large place, with a very elaborate staircase. It did have an eerie feeling to it, especially late at night when you were there by yourself. I admit that at times I would start thinking too much about what everyone had said about it, and I would scare myself a little and not want to go into the heavily mirrored bathroom.

The funny thing was that I never seemed to care much about ghosts or anything when I was there all coked out of my head at 3am by myself.
I have always wanted to stay in one of those haunted houses that people say no one could spend an entire night in. Just bring a bag of coke and within minutes you would forget that the place was supposed to be scary.

Hearing these folklore stories leading from a $20 Ouija is quite exhilarating, and quite disturbing at the same time. It makes one wonder if something more sinister is involved or if it is all simply a play of the subconscious mind.

How many of you were high at the time of play?  ??? Alcohol, narcotics, sedatives, stimulants, analgesics, etc?

Is this collective automatism or spirits at work?  ???

I think this really sums up a LARGE part of it:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ideomotor_effect

The rest consists of self-fullfilling prophecies. When you believe things are a certain way, you act and live as though they are.
People who believe in ghosts will often attribute "unexplainable" phenmenon to spirits and hauntings, while folks who don't belive in ghosts will search for a more logical/rational explanation, or at least attribute the occurrances to something general, but realistic - like saying, "oh, it was just the wind, or the house settling," etc.

When my cousin was a toddler (before he knew what ghosts were) he once asked who the lady was that comes in his room at night.  We've caught photos of them to.  I would scan them but I don't have them.

Thats a fallacy if I have ever seen one.  The majority of topics I DO NOT post in, nor do I have any relevance to many of them.  I could easily make the argument that I don`t have much in common with the lot of you, but I do find ways to relate every now and then.

Furthermore, if you knew anything about American History or Custom in the 1800s in the South, you would know that burial on your own property was common place.  The custom is also from the Bible: "Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names." Psalm 49-11

The custom was carried out because families envisioned that the land would be theirs forever, generation after generation, with burial in the garden and never looking forward to the day if and when the property would change hands to a different family.

you do not post in the majority of posts, yet you have almost 30k posts. yip yip

Unless you have had some strange experiences, which I have had one, you tend not to believe anything. I do think that eventually, some things will be explained, but we dont have the technology, higher learning or science to understand certain things now, or why something so real might not be real at all.  But I for one, dont doubt some of these stories that we hear.  The question is - what exactly is it that they are seeing, hearing or thinking they are.  Science and expanded knowledge will one day answer that.  100 years ago - a lot of people didn't believe half the stop we are seeing or hearing now.

The board is gone - but hopefully, soon, I can undertake this question with the help of the spirits - or at least tinker with things with the guy helping run the server and figure it out as too why it blocks when we reach max connections at one time.
