This is what I was afraid of... seems that no matter who's in the WH, they all just push us to the same goal..... huge government and huge debt.
I fear that true conservatism is dead. We seem to only manage to get big gov RHINO's in that dont give a fuck about personal liberty or fiscal conservatism...
In short, I dont really know if the new conservatives have ANYTHING in common with the conservative party Lincoln started.

(What really bothers me about Romney is he switched from Democrat to Conservative, so i'm pretty sure he's just pulling an Obama circa 08 and telling the people what they want to hear while towing the GOP party line. That, and his record isnt a whole lot different that Obamas big-government big-spending mentality, though im hoping that he realizes that increasing spending through the roof hasnt fixed the economy and tries something different, Keynesian economics never seems to work in real world scenarios)
