He's been a complete fraud since day one. He CANNOT throw the ball downfield. He dinks and dunks and has a decent completion percentage, but never any meaningful yardage.  Shannahan knew this from the minute he saw him and created an offense his first year that protected him. And they had a great running game his first year. But eventually that kind of quarterback will get exposed and it happened to the fraud. You will never win if you have to rely on him to play as a real quarterback in the league. Period.

RG3 is gonna dominate the bucs today.  He'll probably throw 2 picks in the first quarter to get TB's confidence up, then BAM, he'll destroy them.

U got the 2 picks part right  :D

Washington fans chant for Colt McCoy

Washington had two weeks to get ready for the one-win Bucs.  And Washington is losing by 20.

The fans don’t like it.  And they don’t like the starting quarterback, Robert Griffin III.  Per multiple Twitter accounts of members of the media attending the game, the fans are clamoring for backup Colt McCoy.

“We want Colt” is the chant, and for good reason.  Griffin has been mediocre at best, completing 19 of 27 passes for 185 yards and two interceptions.  Griffin has been sacked six times.

On a fourth-quarter bubble screen to receiver DeSean Jackson, Griffin made a one-step drop — and then threw the ball into the dirt in front of Jackson.  (No worms were harmed in the filming of this highlight.)

McCoy beat the Titans after coming off the bench and then upended the Cowboys.  Griffin returned the following Sunday, losing to the Vikings and now getting drubbed by the Bucs.

Tom Prince posed in Colt.  This means the RG3 thread is now officially bodybuilding related.

I think its the opposite. All RG3 did in college was air it out at Baylor.

Its the shitty dink and dunk system the Redskins are forcing him to run. What also hurts Robert, is that he has lost a step from his two acl tears, and dislocated ankle.

He looks to be skiddish when he scrambles as well.

RG3 would be best in an all shotgun, run and shoot offense.

He does not excell in throwing screens and 5 yard outs.

Plus we should all remember that the Redskins have been a terrible franchise for many years now.

They are the Raiders of the NFC.

RG3 will win a Superbowl with the Eagles next year. Mark my words. They will sign him off season and him running Chip Kelly's offense will be something no one has ever seen before. Washington just sucks as an organization and he had zero chance to succeed there. The Eagles are still a year away and this will be the most perfect marriage of player to system ever.

that'd be a great fit for him.  He can't be "the man" anymore, but plug him in with less pressure in a friendly place like that, and he could go very deep in playoffs.  Kelly is making Sanchise look like Joe Montana.

I think its the opposite. All RG3 did in college was air it out at Baylor.

He passed for good yardage his Heisman year but "all he did was air it out" is not really accurate, you don't complete 72% of your passes airing it out against Division I FBS defenses every week.  A lot of his success in college could be attributed to his ability to avoid the rush even if they weren't drawing up options or designed runs for him all the time.  He definitely wasn't a traditional drop-back passer in college and he definitely hasn't shown the ability to do that in the NFL.

I am wondering when or if teams will stop trying this "dual-threat / athlete / scrambler" type-QB in the NFL.  It works great in college but NFL defenses are just too fast and athletic and hit too hard.  Michael Vick is a generational athlete and was able to make it sort of work for a few years, can't think of any other major successes.

I would hope RG3 gets traded to the Rams for maximum hilarity, but the Eagles, and to a lesser extent, the Pats, are probably where he ends up

Jeff Fisher Taunts 'Skins With RG3 Trade Haul Before Game

he Rams shut out the 'Skins 24-0 today, but St. Louis head coach Jeff Fisher punked Washington before the game even started.

Remember when Washington traded up in the 2012 draft to get Robert Griffin III? Oh, Fisher remembers.

Fisher w/a little sense of humor. He sent Jenkins, Brockers, Stacy, Bailey, Robinson, Ogletree out for pregame coin toss at FedEx.

What's the meaning of all that? All six were acquired as result of the RGIII trade.

RG3 could be good somewhere else if he starts as 3rd string and takes a year to really learn the NFL offense.

"making shit up on the fly" works fine in college if you're talented, but you lose a half-step in the NFL (which he did, and then some), they're gonna crush you.

He definitely needs a change of scenery. He is in a toxic situation with a terrible franchise that clearly does not want him (minus the owner)

I think he should get a fair shake on another team, before we decide that he is a bust.

The Redskins would be a terrible environment for any QB.  The organization has become a joke.

It was a horrible draft choice.  Hard to take a running QB and turn him into a traditional Pocket passer.  Plus when you're drafted so high you're going to a shitty team.  People will say what about Russell Wilson, yeah , but he went to an already winning team

Unfortunately, if you go team by team in the NFL there isn't a good fit for RGIII. Maybe the Bills, just because Rex Ryan loves the idea of a dual threat quarterback.
