If anyone thinks anyone who ever beat Arnold was ever drug fee they are fucking idiots. One thing these "golden era" bodybuilders all had in common was their own ability to completely lie through their teeth. Almost like a fucking split personality disorder or something. Arnold was using drugs when he was in his mid teens. By the time he came to America at 19 he was his biggest he ever was. That's why he lost. He as a marshmellow men at a time when the contests were more about muscularity, aesthetics, etc. But obviously Arnold went on to dominate bodybuilding. Yorton may not have used much but he was never "natural". None of the guys that ever stepped on stage in the 60s+ were. Steve Reeves was probably the last natural to ever step on stage if I could ever believe in a natural bodybuilder of that era. Even John Grimek admitted to trying dbol. But Grimek's physique was definitely as natural as you can get in my opinion.
