Seriously that's all there is too it. It's a fad/gimmick, the whole novel part of it is that it all sounds the same. Which means that it can be considered a genre, usually thats hard to do in this day and age, so it gets a lot of attention.

The music industry is a joke, it's very cyclical, the only thing that ever really changes is the production techniques. It's all the same shit over and over again, even chord tones for most songs were around long before we were born.

I got a good friend who makes electronic music, and man he can pretty much locate any song around and show you an older version of basically the same shit.

Well, actually I am (sophisticated), to be honest - I'm probably amongst the top of the most sophisticated people you could ever meet lol.. But all I tried to say was just that you can like some genre, and some not, but if one doesn't like, it doesn't mean it's "crap" automatically.. Some ppl are very narrowminded..and some become "outdated" way too early.. Idk, maybe some ppl think that they doesn't need to learn constantly after they graduate or some shit (like - "Oh, now I'm officially "knowledgeable" so I can /settle down/, when it comes to general education.."). Anyway, for each his own I guess..

I see you are quite bothered by that, I wonder - why? And my nickname is related to my real name (aside the fact that Da Vinci appeals to me as a person who had very wide field of ineterests and excelled in most of them. A painter, an inventor, a writer, a scientist, etc..).
To put more fuel to the fire: I have a memory you could just dream of, so that enables me to learn and remember, and then learn some more (I believe in a never ending education thourgh a lifetime, to keep oneself as fresh, mind wise, as possible. Education of a wide range of fields, as that adds to the flexibility and creativeness, doesn't matter what's your main field/profession/work, too). Hope this helps.
