Here are two helpful reminders for apoplectic conservatives: Until Barack Obama shows up on a U.S. aircraft carrier in a flight suit and an over-sized cod piece, no GOP loyalist can criticize him for boasting about the operation that killed Osama Bin Laden. And no Republican can claim that "other presidents and candidates like myself" would have ordered that high-risk mission in Pakistan. After all, in 2008 John McCain said he wouldn't. Mitt Romney said we shouldn't. And despite his tough-talk about getting Bin Laden "dead or alive," George W. Bush simply couldn't.

On Friday, the still bitter McCain declared, "Shame on Barack Obama for diminishing the memory of September 11th and the killing of Osama bin Laden by turning it into a cheap political attack ad." For his part, the 2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney scoffed that "even Jimmy Carter would have given that order." Unfortunately for the Republican propaganda machine, we know that neither John McCain nor Mitt Romney would have supported the Special Forces strike deep in Pakistan. We know this, because they told us so.

all we know is that romney took the position he WOULD go into pakistan to get OBL, and that he said HE WOULD NOT do it.

Taking every position on every issue helps, I guess.  He can be completely wrong about the issue, but as long as he ALSO takes the opposition position, suppoerters can refute that.

Romney being quiet and humble on this one, giving obama props because it's all he can do.  He made the statements, period.  No matter "he ALSO said the opposite..."

Dems own the nat'l security issue and terrorism.  Never thought we'd see such a day.  Repubs are crying as the neocons got their way - 25+ years with bases in afghanistan  lmao

Hey dumbass, if it wasnt for the enhanced interrogation tequniques that Downgrade criticizes, we never would have found him in the first place. All the intelligence that led to his courier happend under Bush. If it werent for Bush, this wouldnt have happened. Its pathetic that your hero is nothing but a political con artist. But in the never never land of Peter Pan and Democrats, intelligence happens with the snap of a finger!!! Wallaw!!! Seriously, do you people really believe this shit? Do you really believe the shit that comes out of your mouth?

By the way, get ready for Friday morning. I can assure you we wont be talking about this come 8:00am  ET that day.

How is he better? He didn't initiate any military protocol, defensive program or intelligence gathering capability to keep this country safe.

But what can we expect? This is the mind set of these idiots. They contribute nothing while benefiting from the efforts of others.

OBama left the bush military policy in place in iraq, including the SOFA thing for us leaving.  Then he ramped UP the afghan war effort and signed us up for 10 more years.

Even though he didn't "initiate" it, he renewed it, and he owns it - success or failure.  President owns the results of the policy he creates AND that policy he chooses to renew.

Obama deserves credit and criticism because he is the one who chooses policy.  He kept the bush tax cuts in place, he owns their results.  he kept bush war policy in place, he owns that oto.

Bush didn't want him.  He allowed him to escape the Tora mountains with nary a hair out of place on his head.

On March 13, 2002 - not even a year after 9/11 -  then President Bush said, “We haven’t heard much from him. And I wouldn’t necessarily say he’s at the center of any command structure. And, again, I don’t know where he is. I’ll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him."

Because George W. Bush was not concerned about Bin Laden, 4,452 American troops have lost their lives in Iraq. Those Americans died because the Bush administration gave up on capturing Osama Bin Laden and decided to focus on a war that they thought they could easily win.
In the coming days there will be lots of explanations coming from the right of why George W. Bush deserves credit for the death of Osama Bin Laden, but the truth is very simple and straightforward.  George W. Bush didn’t care, and Osama Bin Laden lived.  Barack Obama cared, and Bin Laden is dead.

NO.

When something goes wrong under Obama...you have to show emails conclusiving proving he was at fault.

When he does something right like killing this shitbag, the he totally gets credit.

Good - ole fashion retarded liberal logic.  ::)
