CompTH - now with Tylan? WTF?
« on: May 05, 2012, 03:05:14 PM »
My cattle are in need of their annual order of pellets to keep them healthy and strong and I noticed that compTH has started adding Tylan 20 to their pellets. I've read this can cause muscle atrophy when injected into animals by itself, obviously not a problem for the cattle since the pellets go in the ear but not something that you'd want to inject into the rump of a large bull if it really causes those problems

any other livestock breeders notice this change? and are you risking it or switching to fina pellets? TH always was a little cheaper but fuck that if it causes my cow to get muscle damage

The last i saw the prices between F-H/C-TH, there was a difference of $1.95 price for 40 dose strip.  The difference is rather negligible.

You can still find C-TH without Tylan. It's $4.05 cheaper for 40 strip, than with Tylan.
