Everyone has some good perspectives, and good points of view. Thanks for sharing them!
But I want to say, for starters I have no interest in walking around at 10% bf... I'm around 20-23% right now.
I guess 15% would be more ideal really! But I would probably feel pretty small at 10% I'm never going to be a massive guy at 10%... Just the card that I was handed! And I hate feeling small! I like where I stand right now... sure I'm not gonna be on any magazine covers or anything, but I feel pretty strong in the gym right now and pretty big out in the streets when I go out with friends! Plus my wife is happy with what she's got... and that translates over to my happiness

I doubt my arms could ever be over 17 inches when I diet down, and again, I really don't care, whenever I get on stage its all about the way it looks, no one gets up there and whips out a tape measure lol
But I dunno when I will be on stage again - I would like to at some point, but there are other more important things in life that I want to focus on right now (like finishing my PhD in Industrial Engineering, one day starting a family, focusing more on my career, etc.) Competing in bodybuilding is still there in my mind, but you can say its all the way in the back!
I also want to just comment on this quote here by Ritch
You must really be an endomorph to get that heavy on so few cals, I mean you're close to 6 feet you said, I think. If you're not doing post workout cardio now, I would seriously start.
Since when is 4,000 calories such "few cals"? lol
Oh and I do cardio 4 times a week, 20 minutes before a work out, its not much but its better than nothing, I'd like to push it to 30 minutes, but then it just eats up more time away from lifting, and I don't want to be in the gym all day long! My work outs are normally 2 - 2.5 hours!
