Phil Heath a.k.a "The Gift" looked his best at that time in his career for this contest. He was sliced from head to toe. The added muscle made him to be able to stand with the big boys from the front, side and back. Phil had the best back double bicep in the show and displayed his amazing detail in his back that no one could match. With his amazing arms, delts, tight waist and great legs from the front and back, Phil was the most complete bodybuilder on stage and in my opinion should have won the show, but the judges had him in second place after Jay Cutler. This was just beginning for "The Gift", for bigger and better things were to come a year later.

He looked much better during the final.

Phils arms are way too big, the throw off the balance of the rest of his physique, Phils strength is his ability to get lean showing quality separation. His narrow shoulders and overdeveloped arms somehow effect the natural symmetry Phil used to have when he was not so big.

His arms aren't that big...at the 2010 Mr. O, Jay's arms were bigger, and Jay is 5'8 vs Phil's 5'9.
Phil has exceptional good lateral and long heads of the triceps, giving the illusion of big arms.

the final's score didn't even count that year, just the prejudging, and you can thank chick for that brilliance. phil won the prejudging but they give it to jay, knowing he couldn't make up ground in the night show. that's another O jay should have lost.

Right away when I saw the 2010 Olympia version of
Heath I thought he was holding a bit of water and his gut was bigger.
This is compared to the 2010 AC version which I thought was much sharper and better.
Then in 2011 he brought it all together. Extra size but with the 2010 AC condition.
I think he'll be even bigger this year with the same amazing condition.
BTW! Great site you have and one of the few posters that keeps the
bodybuilding aspect of this board strong.

Is it true?

Because if you watch Mr Olympia 2010 in high quality you realize Jay is finaly superior to his competitors including Phil.
I only found the dvd of the final but Phil was at least 20% better and Jay 10% worse than at the prejudging.
So his victory doesn't shock me.
