If youve ever seen any interviews with the dude, he's a pretty goofy bastard.
Some of those Disney flicks fit his personality. And it worked for him.
He got his "action hero" badge, and his "Disney" badge.

Yeah, but unlike Vin Diesel (The Irony in that name), Johnson COULD actually fuck up pretty much anyone short of a real fighter if he wanted to. Plus he doesnt try and pretend to be anything other than a goofy fucker - most of his action movies he still has that goofy attitude even while he's fucking people up. Not even getting into his football career and his wrestling career.

Diesel on the other hand, has cultivated this image of a badass everywhere, inside and outside of the theatre, and its just sad because he's not that big and kind of a vagina, and he hasnt really done shit other than act.

But vin diesel is a skilled actor, which is a big difference from rocky. If he wasn't so type cast, he could be doing some impressive roles. Vinny is a bruce willis, while rocky is just a another Ahnorld.

Skilled may be exaggerating slightly.
Given my choice, Id take the Rock over Vin any day and twice on Sunday's for the "badass" role.
The Rock stole the show from Vin in that travesty of a movie "Fast 5".
Ill admit that Vin does have the ability to go above and beyond what we've seen him in, but its not like he's an Al Pacino or a Willis.
Willis can do anything and be good IMHO.

Now that Willis is older, Id still compare him more to the Rock than to Vin. Willis has always kinda had that "goofy" attitude incorporated into his "badass" roles as well.

Here's a little insight on what Hollywood does to these guys. You either play ball and get blackballed. They turned Eddie Murphy into a flamming homo. All he does now is Disney type movies. Watch Oprah's face during this interview. Oprah sold her soul to the Hierarchy years ago. Plus she's Queer herself. She knows exactly what Hollywood is and does.

Ya Vin likes to run with the story that he was a badass bouncer in NYC years ago. The fact is he was friends with the people at the door and was always scene at the club "The Tunnel" break dancing. He may have even been on the payroll and worked the door once and awhile. But the guy was tiny/skinny. There was a guy years ago on one of the boards saying he knew Vince from the club and the Vince always hung around the gay crowd. He also said Vince never been in a fight in his life. Like I said, dude has a carefully crafted image. He's like 5'8" and not very big. He's not a trained fighter, and supposedly not very tough. He'd get rocked by plenty of people at most L.A. nightclubs.

Most bouncers I knew were huge, and they simply used their size and weight, and like you said, threw it around.
Throwing around 180 pounds at all of 5'8" isnt going to do very much.

This has some truth.
Rock is typecast into either super goofy or uber-badass roles. Doest do a lot in between.
Then again, neither does Vin.
