saw quinn at mohegan sun with pro boxer vinny pazzeinnza( spell check) back in 2002 or so at a ufc event, they where pretty cool dudes. quinn had a short fuse back in his day, i heard he tackled phil hill backstage one time

Mike was an ok bodybuilder who thought he was always being overlooked by the judges. The reality was that he
just wasn't good enough. I know because I was one of the judges.

The best footage of Mike out there's from the second Vince McMahon ~~Schmoemanship~~contest in '92. He was REALLY fat and started his "routine" in a straight jacket behind bars. If you ignore the hideous spectacle before you and close your eyes, the pitch of his voice ("Arrrrgh, gotta get outta here!") and grunting noises he makes sounds JUST like Pee-Wee Herman

When he finally comes out and starts posing, even the commentators point out what a fat fucking PIG he is. Quinn blamed that DePasquale guy and his high-fat diet for that, but we all know it was the drug testing.

Btw, funny how Big Wig Gary seemed to escape that test, nay?

Gary didn't escape that test. Heck, he was at least 10 pounds smaller than he was in 1991. Most of the WBF guys have stated that they were all tested, from Strydom on down.

Placing top 10 at the Olympia multiple times, back then, meant you were among the best in the world. Quinn did that.

agree strydom was down and hardness was off too,,91 he was swole as ever and could have been top 3 mro that yr,,,

I'm not so sure about the hardness/conditioning. To me, he looked a bit more sliced than '91. My guess is that knowing he couldn't keep his '91 size, he concentrated on being in shape.

Jim Quinn claimed that the reason he and Strydom didn't look as bad as some of the others is that they were superhuge in the off-season (Quinn over 300 lb, Strydom just under that), before the testing started. Plus, Jim Quinn bragged about his heavy training was the reason he didn't shrink as much as his fellow WBFers.

That was the boxer that took Titus' girl (Debbie Halo) from him.
