Verdict has been reached in John Edwards case - 30 years prison?

The jury worked thru lunch and have their verdicts coming up shortly.

He cheated on his cancer-stricken wife and had a secret baby, used a million in campaign funds to pay for the mistress' needs...

Looking at 30 years prison - and could have been President.


What's your prediction?  guilty, prison for 30 years for mis-spending campaign dollars?  You can beat an old lady with a manhole cover and get less than 30 years.
Guilty on lesser charges?   Or will he walk?

30 YEARS!!! you're kidding - last time I saw the guy he was campaigning lol thats how fast the worm can turn.

And boy do I love the word "mis-spending" like it was an accident like he wasn't meant to but circumstance dictated to him that he had to ::)

So my question is this.  Why can't people just give other people money?  Why all of the secrecy with campaign funds?
Couldn't he have had them secretly give it to him another way?

I guess the multi millionaires who backed his campaign didn't find themselves in an agreement that he spend their donated money to keep his little whore in a nice and cosy place :D

It said that one of the donations of about 700k was covered up by her saying she bought antique furniture.
She had to know what it was for if she was covering it up.  Why not just pay him for services or something like that?

Lül a man shot his friend in a drunken rage with six shots here in sweden. The friend died and the man got 6 years in jail. He will only serve 3/4 of the sentence because of the swedish laws so he will sit 4.5 years minus the half year he was in custody. And edwards is facing 30 years haha
