Mitt Romney’s senior campaign adviser, Eric Fehrnstrom, on Sunday said that social issues important to women, like contraception coverage and abortion rights, were “shiny objects” that were being used to distract voters.

David Plouffe, one of President Barack Obama’s top aides, last week told New York Magazine that Democrats needed to be clear about what a Romney presidency would mean for women’s rights and other social issues.

“Potentially abortion will be criminalized,” Plouffe said.”Women will be denied contraceptive services. He’s far right on immigration. He supports efforts to amend the Constitution to ban gay marriage.”

Taxes and fees: Increased more than $750 million per year

- More debt than all of his predecessors COMBINED
- First president to get us downgraded credit rating (and he got it downgraded TWICE)
- His party, as a result, took one of the worst beatings in the history of American politics
- He's only lowered unemployment by NOT COUNTING people out of the workforce (which has been reduced).
- Black unemployment at or near record-highs.
- More people unemployed for at least six months than EVER.
- More college grads unemployed than ever
- More people with at least a high-school diploma unemployed than ever.
- Last August, literally ZERO jobs created.
- Gas at least $3/gallon for over two years.
