If that were the case, nearly everyone who "upped the dosage" would be USA champs or Mr. Universe winners. Remember that guy, Dan Duchaine, the "Steroid Guru". He "upped the dosage" but it didn't do him that much good.

Genetic response to drugs differs.

lmao  ;D

LOL.

And as someone else said, genetic response to drugs. Feed most black guys the same drugs as him and they would blow up to the same size. Whether they still have to lines/symmetry/shape is anyone's guess. But you can usually tell at 160lbs and very cut what a person will look like at 260lbs and very cut.

Exactly,... so obviously it is not all drugs, genetics play a huge role. 1... the way you respond plays a huge role, 2... your structure and shape. A lot respond just as good as Phil, they have put on the same amount of muscle at the same rate but can't break top ten at a pro show.

"genetics" encomposses everything about a person physical makeup. Lines, muscle bellies, bone structure, metabolism, skin tone and response to drugs.

I laugh at idiots who say "it's not his genetics, it's his response to steroids". That's genetics...it's ALL genetics, the entire sport.

the drugs and workout regimens are the same for everyone. it's YOUR GENETICS that make the difference.

Dorian wasn't dry as fuck, and Ronnie was freakishly huge and muscular, because they specifically trained for their respective looks, it's their genetic makeup. they did the same drugs. and they both trained hard.

It's not like Ronnie could say "I want to be dry and grainy like Dorian this year, I'll do what he does and i'll look like that"...he could never get that hard, and Dorian could never hope to have the amount of round muscle that Ronnie had hanging from his frame, it wasn't in his genetic cards.
