Ronnie was a great champion, but only ascended to the top because of Dorian's retirement.  Ronnie didn't have the tools to beat Dorian onstage.  A better competition would have been Yates and Haney in '92 and '93 had Haney stuck around.

What's funny is at the end of the 1991 Olympia Haney said he just literally learned how to peak and he hinted that he might return in 1992 , I think he got wise

like I always said if Haney showed up looking the way he did in 91 against how Dorian showed up in 92 , Lee would have beat him. But by 93 Haney wasn't ever touching him but Haney was young when he retired and I think he had room from improvement would that be enough? who knows

Dorian overdieted in '92 to compete with the smaller guys.  Had Haney been in the competition, he probably wouldn't have brought it down so far.  That would have been a great show.

look @ the 96 Olympia call outs when Ronnie ,out of nowhere ,gets compared to dorian and shawn ray- in 96 he is already clearly better than yates

Was at that show and you're completely wrong.   Ronnie did look good though.

I honestly don't think that this is that great. His legs look smooth and puffy almost and arms lack detail, I cant even see separation between his tris and bi's laterally. Good no doubt but that's not a good pose for him.

Doesn't matter what pics you post.  I was there and it wasn't close.  Look for any coverage that said Ronnie was better - you won't find any.
