Princess, did you take these pics?  If so, you know how to pick produce.  People might not think so, but picking quality produce is a rare skill. Looks delicious. What farmers market do you go too?

All but the purple cauliflower (couldn't seem to get my camera phone to download), but all the others I took of my score from either the farmers market or my garden.  I roasted some of the cauliflower last night and it turned a DARK purple.  Very cool looking ~ tasted pretty much the same as the white.

There are several vendors that travel to the various farmers markets in the area on scheduled days.  They just set up their tables in parking lots for a few hours.  There are a few roadside stands or farms, but produce is usually limited to a couple of items in season.  I was at one in Lawrence, Kansas this summer that was really nice and the one in Madison, Wis is outstanding. but way too crowded and parking is a bitch

FYI ~ Tomatoes:  NEVER refrigerate or let get below 50 degrees.  Also, never refrigerate garlic.
