really pissed - doctor may have spoken about my steroid use

I made a thread a while back about visiting a new doctor and my BP was high, etc. and I told him the cycle I was on.
Anyhow...
last night I was in a club and this young guy grabs me by the arm and he was TWISTED drunk. I knew him to see only and he says "Dave, what you are on? What are you taking?". I was like "ugh, creatine and protein, bro".
He stares at me...asks me "do you know X McX?"...and stared me in the eyes. The name didn't actually ring a bell for a second and then he goes "you know him, that's my father". It was the doctor's son.
I was like..."oh yeah...but why are you asking me if I know your father?"
He says "oh I saw you going into him the other day". Which was absolute bullshit.
He replies "Don't worry, my father says nothing". I replied "I hope not." and walked away.

My blood started to boil today the more I thought about it. I live abroad but am back in Ireland for a bit of a vacation and the town I live in is small. Now it's obvious to see me that I'm juicing and most people do ask me if I am. I used to admit it but now I just deny, deny, deny.

I've decided I'm going to ring the doctor's office at 9am and tell his secretary to have him call me back when he has free time and I'm going to tell the story and see what he has to say. I am gonna tell him I'm not happy. I always thought patient-doctor confidentiality was upheld but obviously not in this case.

I can't outright accuse him. I'm going to tell the story as I told here and ask what he thinks of what I told him and judge it from there. Am I better off making an appointment and going in or just speaking about it over the phone? Asshole might even try charge me consultation if I go in.

I'll never go near him again. It was my first and only consultation. It's obvious his drunken son let the cat out of the bag. It was in his eyes when he was asking me if I knew his father, he asked me three times while staring me down...basically telling me "I know you're on all sorts of weird shit, Davey boy"

Here is what you do..  You call the office, ask to speak to your doctor and when the secretary asks what this is about, tell her that it involves a breach in patient-doctor confidentiality per your doctor's part.

Once he gets on the phone, tell him that you saw his son at a club, he approached you and told you that his father told him about your steroid use.  Don't pitch it any other way, tell him that his son approached you and told you how his father told him about your personal steroid use and how he(son) was then interested in asking about your cycle.

As soon as you tell him this, ask him why he would breach your right as a patient.  Tell him that you're disappointed and that he will hear from you very soon.

Make an appointment, but tell him it's not a dr related issue. That way he won't charge you for a dr visit, but will be worried about it until the day of the appointment. I'm sure by now his kid blabbed about running into you, thus putting two and two together when you call.

His attitude the first day was pretty bad with me, he was just saying "get off that shit" over and over when I told him about my steroid use. He was unprofessional from the very first day but I had heard that he was a good doctor before I went into him. I don't know if I want to take the hard line on it. I don't think he's a bad guy, I mean as soon as my blood tests came back he rang me immediately and told me they were fine and he was sending on the paperwork but he also put me on some low dose BP meds and gave me advice on what to do when I went back to Holland about getting a 24-hr bp monitor etc.

I'm just pissed 'cos his kid is a gym bunny who's going to run around telling the whole of town that he trains with that I'm on loads and loads of steroids (which I'm not, it was just a low dose of tren and test at the time)

You're over thinking too much, which is quite normal because you're undecided and not sure on how to approach the situation without making enemies. Remember this, never confront anybody over the phone because you miss the eye contact and it'll give the other person enough time to ramble something up. Keep it simple, meet him in person and say what's on your mind like an adult. Expect the worse and hope for the best.
