The American public don't care. As a whole, they are too ignorant and just want "cheap stuff". So they will continue to shop at the largest store possible, then wonder why there are no well paying jobs left. Every purchase has a consequence. We are seeing the consequences of irrational people in a system designed for rationality.

Please go read what a "Neo-Conservative" actually is.

Their platform doesn't really include cutting corporate tax rates.

But, for the average company, the U.S. Corp. rate is 35%....now add local/state taxes. Now throw in environmental regulations, labor compliance, insurance, permits for building, all the legal matters and on and on.....when compared to other nations the U.S. can be cost prohibitive.

And I'm not saying go back to the 200 years with worker safety or let them dump toxic wast on your front lawn, no, but there has to be a better way.

Also, when talking about taxes and such people like to bring up gigantic corporations that "pay nothing" or whatever...that's fine as I don't like it either but I would suspect that the majority of companies in the U.S. have to deal with the stuff listed above.
