Father's Day
« on: June 17, 2012, 08:11:18 AM »
I believe Father's day is a bit underrated compared to Mother's day due to all the single Mothers bad mouthing them, in any event it's just as important as Mother's day so Happy Father's day to all the Fathers!

Wish I had been with him in his last days.  He was a good man.

RIP dad.

Not as financially lucrative to align yourself with a man, his whims, and his spending dollar, as it is to cater to woman, her desires, and her spending dollar.

90%+ of all household purchasing decisions are made by women - not men. Men are simply along for the ride. No surprise, then, that companies like to be seen by women as being supportive of women and their "day"; and no surprise it also happens to be a massive commercial payday for retail.

As for men...well, there's always Home Depot and a ballgame. Frankly, women don't even try to buy shit for men that we might like. They buy shit they would like us to like (such as underwear, or some shit-bird cologne, or some other tacky shit we don't care about). And the things we do talk about liking are frankly ignored by women, since they could care less about the brand of beer you like, that outboard motor you've been eyeing up, or why a blowjob on father's day would be about all we'd really need to call the day a success.

We're not hard to make happy. It's just that women over-complicate things. We're not hard to figure out. Get on your knees, then make a great sandwich sided with a chilled bevvy, then be quiet and go in the other room and do something and leave us alone for a few hours while the fights are on. Later on, we might want to talk to you, but don't hold your breath. Is that so much to ask, one day out of the year, on our fuckin day?

I don't want a Hallmark card, or a shirt, or socks, or some gift card to some shit-stained retailer. Newsflash: that's what you (girls) want! Stop buying for you.

If you guys can't tell, my father's day gift to myself was permission to post all "I-hate-the-world-and-all-in-it" like Uberman. It's nice.

This is a great post right here

LOL so true. My dad thinks its stupid as hell for me to get him a card or even wrap a gift outside of the plastic bag the store gave me. I have pretty much stuck to Lowe's gift cards because he was been doing a lot of work to the house since his asshole son(me) has been out of it for a few years now. I know your post was directed at moronic females with younger children together.
