I think Romney is more politically savvy than Obama. I dont really know about intelligence, I dont think Obama is stupid, he's just arrogant. Romney seems to be a little more cunning, he rarely ever shows his true colors, which kind of scares me.

Obama was the wrong man at the right time - he knew exactly what people wanted to hear. Unfortunatley, he had no experience and refused to deviate from his agenda, refused to listen to those who knew better, and surrounded himself with yes men.

Dudes a stereotypical narcissist IMHO.

they're both probably 130 to 140 IQ.

They both have law degrees. They both convinced millions of people to give them money and a lot of power. They both understand how govt, business, and the world works.

Additionally - anyone of above average intelligence knows it's more about areas of specialization. Is a PhD in elementary education smarter than a BS degree in physics? Probably not.

Both men are smart. Anyone who disagrees is probably confusing ideology with intelligence. I hear getbiggers say Rachel maddow (phd) is stupid, and joe the plumber is smart. I highly doubt Joe would beat her in an IQ test. But you agree with his political belief, and not hers.

I'm not all that impressed with Obama's intellect. Some of the things I've thought about:

- Romney did more with his education than Obama, up until Obama was elected.

- Obama is a remarkable politician. Getting elected to the U.S. Senate and president with essentially no work history is amazing.

- Romney thinks better on his feet than Obama.

- Romney probably takes advice better and at this point appears to have better self control.

You do know that he headed up the private equity ARM of Bain & Co. long before he became CEO of Bain & Co., right? Bain Capital is a division of Bain & Co. Or are you really as fucking stupid as you come off as?

Oh, and according to his wikipedia, he worked at BCG, then went to Bain and was then made leader of Bain Capital when it was established 7 years after he started working at Bain & Co.

That's pretty unheard of... Not like it's a problem or even wrong, but it is pretty freaking unusual.

He wasn't hired by Bain until he was 30 and had already spent a few years at BCG. Take into account his MBA and it's really not that surprising. Every Wall St. firm has more VPs than they can count as it's usually a title given out after Associate.

Agree. Unusual but not unheard of. Pretty obvious his meteoric rise was justified. He became one the most seccussful businessmen in the country.
