You should be more concerned about a double blind study confirming that reverse lunges aren't just some made up move to confuse your clients and convince them that they need to buy more sessions from you. ;)

BOOYAH! Yes, a double blind study would do the trick. I bet that chick was doing that Epic reverse lunge as part of a double blind study!  :o :o

Benches are far overated................ ......Inclines are where it`s at, unless you have a natural propensity for benches where you can just be a psycho bencher moving big weight.........otherwise it`s an ego builder and a shoulder wrecker.

Take that Joe..

The above comments don`t apply to Joe,that SOB used to bench huge poundages unlike some of us mere mortals her like me!  :(

Double blind actually isn't that good because results are still cross-sectional and thus inherently confounded.  We should really be studying these conundrums longitudinally.

Yes inclines always feel a lot easier on my shoulders (in a good way).  I keep slaving away on flat bench for some reason though.

As soon as you explain why db floor presses are no good as an auxilary exercise.
And please post double blind university studies.
LOL, you know we're wasting finger energy here, right ??? ;D

I never said they were no good....please go back ans read again.

There are a million ways accomplish this. FEW are as involved and display as much of a spectacle as this method. Think about it. Two spotters and a guy on the floor for one simple movement.

Good for business I guess.

Am I clear? If not, read again.

It`s a well know exercise to increase longevity and makes your penis larger as a side benefit.

I highly recommend them.

I do them on a machine for a pump at the end of my chest training or use a barbell like once a year.................jus t stopped doing them as I was going nowhere fast with them after years of doing them religously.

I merely commented that this was a spectacular looking sales gimmick to confuse potential clients and wow current clients. Typical of trainers these days.

There are many EASIER TO UNDERSTAND methods to accomplish what coach is doing.  People think harder to understand, must automatically mean genius results. Suckers.

For the average person who just wants to get in better shape I think it's more important to have some sort of program at all and stick with it, and what the program is specifically doesn't really matter that much.  Like if you do 3 sets of 8 on flat bench or a pyramid scheme on the Hammer Strength, your muscles will get stronger either way.

If you're a focused athlete with specific goals and a limited amount of time to achieve them then it's likely a different story, but I don't really know much about that and so won't pretend I know more than someone who does it for a living like Coach.

This is why I keep referring to you as a newb, anyone with some lifting experience would know that this is not a spectacular sales gimmick, it's a commonly practiced lift for serious trainers that are looking to gain strength and push themselves to their next level. Because YOU think it's useless and confusing doesn't mean it is, it only means you are inexperienced at lifting and have no clue as to what you are looking at.

I know what coach is showing is not complicated. But to most people stupid enough to pay for a trainier, it does look complicated. My point.

Yes, the videos I made specifically for them about 4-5 years ago when you were only about 14.
