Just curious why you guys put each other down? Nobody has blasted me but i'm still curious.
I own a gym, have lifted 29 years and i've never thought any less of someone because they had smaller muscles than me or didn't know how to lift perfectly or diet correctly. Instead i've helped them.
I just don't understand why someone that enjoys working out would put someone else down thats doing their best to also enjoy the gym. The only theory I can come up with is those that put people down are what I call 'summer beach muscle dumb asses'. You only lift to enable you to pick up women and truly don't live weight training and dieting as a lifestyle. So what if your muscles are bigger than someone else in the gym? does that make you a better person?
I can say putting them down does make you one thing, a pure asshole. And if someone came up to me in my gym and told me someone was putting them down, poking fun of them in front of others, well i'd ask you to leave my gym and not come back.
True Iron Warriors, true bodybuilders help others. People that put others down for doing their best to build up their physique are assholes and need to grow up. ANyway, guys like that never last in the gym, they find a girlfriend because shes attracted to his muscles and over time they give up lifting.
I agree, I don't know why some of these guys act like dicks. Sometimes it is funny as hell though. This one time, this guy posted a picture of him and his wife and the first reply was "Both of you men look pretty big" HAHAH! |
