To me though this is the real shit, amazing songs, amazing voice, unbelievable talent playing the piano like that at the same time, disgusting ability, tear-jerking amazingness in places, raw rocknroll goddery right here. Way more sincere than Bono,

Brent Smith is my favourite singer right now, my ears have been demolished by Sound of Madness since its release! Saw them in Glasgow in 2009 and they were outstanding. Great shout my friend.

Distinctive as hell... No one else sounds like Bruce, but I don't know if I'd say he's  a great singer.

Still, his distinct sound is certainly the biggest reason for Maiden's success. Their 1st 2 albums without him were less than stellar and the albums after he left for a bit were also average.

Dickinson had an awesome voice when he was younger but lost his range shortly after Number of the Beast.
