Dorian was great between 91 until bicep tear.
He was still great after that but it did hurt his overall
appearance. Even his right, good arm was never as big
again as it was at the 93 Olympia.
If Doz could have kept his 92 Olympia waist
with his 93 mass that would have been a sight
we've never seen. I used to think 1995 was the best Yates
but after further info; without a doubt prejudging at the 93
Olympia is his greatest. He was full and his arms and legs in
particular looked fantastic. I've noticed the drier Doz gets the more
his legs thin out. If you watch the prejudging video and photos from
93 you can see his legs are big, full and separated but had thinned out some
by the night show. His proportion was excellent. I know people love that
1996 Grand Prix video but I knew for a long time it was posted in the wrong
screen ratio which makes him look 20-25 pounds bigger than he actually was.
I didn't really want to say anything about it but had heard from people that
do video work that it was stretched because of the wrong ratio (I believe unintentually).
Plus I had seen the video in the proper ratio. That still doesn't take away from his
condition. But, if you go back to 91, 92, 93 you can tell he has more leg separation
and his chest striations like at the 91 Olympia is just incredible.
I wonder what he would have looked like had he never been injured.
Same for Levrone..I have no doubt Kevin would have ended up with a much denser look
had he never had the pec tear.
