I think the same herd mentality can be leveled at Republicans. Ron Paul, Herman Cain, Bachmann, etc. Remember hyping them to the moon? Now, you have Romney, a weak candidate culled from a weak field, but you will vote for him not for what he stands for, but because he isn't Obama. A sad state of affairs, all 'round.
- 8% unemployment or higher for 41 straight months
- 9% unemployment or higher for 33 months
- A credit downgrade, for nearly a year
- The only president with more job LOSSES than gains in one term
- The TWO LARGEST tax hikes in history (ObamaCare and 2013 expiration of Bush Tax Cuts)
- Higher taxes on middle class people
- Over 50% of college grads underemployed/unemployed
- Scandals, resulting in military/defense secrets leaked and American border agents KILLED
- Nearly 14% unemployment among black people
And, I should vote for Obama, instead of Romney because......
Romney's "weak candidate" from weak field. Yet, he's neck-and-neck with Obama, raised more money than Obama the last two months, and had four states that Obama won handily flipped to toss-up (with one leaning in his favor).
He wasn't my favorite in the GOP field. But he was the winner. You are correct in one aspect. Regardless of who came out on top (even with hell freezing over and Paul getting the nod), my vote would go for the the GOP winner over this joke of a president, named Obama.
