Sounds like a decent sport, we don't have any Racism in American sports...

"Despite such sportsmanship on the pitch, racism among fans has been much in evidence, fanned by nationalist media coverage. Reporting for Reuters, Mark Meadows notes,

The Spanish and Russian football associations have been fined €20,000 [$26,000] and €30,000 [$29,000] respectively after racist incidents among their fans at Euro 2012 matches … The €20,000 sanction on the Spanish has been imposed after fans sang racist chants and engaged in other racist behaviour during the Group C match against Italy in Gdansk on June 10.
Italy’s black striker Mario Balotelli started in the 1-1 draw.
The Russians have been fined after being found guilty of the same charge in the Group A game against the Czech Republic in Wroclaw on June 8.

Italian newspapers also need more sensitivity training, observes The Guardian’s Tom Kington after two of the country’s three sporting newspapers were accused of racism."

Britain has become such a Big Brother surveillance state that police try and identify any people responsible on the TV's and arrest them and put them on trial!!!

I've even read of one case where a schoolgirl complained to the teacher about being in a group of mostly Pakistani kids because they were speaking in their own language. So the teacher calls the police and the girl is apprehended and questioned for 'racism'.

It does sound totally ridiculous though but no, I didn't make it up.

And about the police looking at TV footage to identify those making racist remarks to players I saw the report on either BBC or ITV news.
