The more the media presents Obama as doing well, the more likely his chances are of winning re-election.

So now you are saying the 5 media corporations in the USA will influence the election the most?

if the economy gets better, probably so

if it continues to stumble its a toss up

I think there are still a number of attacks that obama isnt using on romney just yet and he will.

So if the economy gets better or even if it goes side ways I would say its probably obama.

that being said the dems in the house and senate are going to get slaughtered.

I'm doing election fraud and election law for him.   I don't. Like Romney, but your communist messiah must go.

Where is the media reporting the economy getting better? The economy added 60k jobs in May (which the media reported) and looks to have added about 90k in June, which is another disastrous number for the Usurper.

I am not saying it is.  Its said on the news every now and then here and there, last notable was a few months ago when Lou Dobbs said it. Also recently some states are doing better, but the country isn't as a whole.    If you talk to dems they will make a case it is getting better, if you talk to repubs they will make a case it isn't.  Its just tool time really, but the bottom line is the economy isn't getting better fast enough if it is at all.  That i think most people when they drop the us vs them mentality can agree on.

The problem is perception, and its perception that's going to determine votes and OB is out politicing Romney at the moment.

Perception econ is getting better
Latino vote
Osama
Obamacare
Romeny is in reaction mode and doesn't come across decisive

Do any of the OB haters conclude that its not going to be a slam dunk any longer?

Rick Scott, FL gov, said things are getting better.
11 straight months of the jobless rate shrinking.
FL RE market getting much better too.
Some things are getting better, some things are not.

I think 333386 would HAVE to agree with oZ that Romney does not appear to be decisive.

NOPE!! The media can report all it wants. What the actual numbers are and the pain the voters feel will determine that. Plus, having 8% unemployment for 42 months straight, coupled with revised jobs numbers (indicating that it's worse than it was initially) ain't a good thing.

Bin Laden? That won't help. Obama plunged to the 30s, three months after Bin Laden got whacked. Plus, there's this Muslim Brotherhood mess and Iran.

As for ObamaCare, he hasn't been able to sell it in three years; he won't sell it in four months.

Romney needs to beat Obama over the head with the bad economic number AND the fact that Obama raised taxes on the middle class, something he said he wouldn't do.

He needs to pound in the narrative that he needs the White House and the Senate, to repeal ObamaCare.

If he can hammer that home and get the base behind him (throw in Obama gay-pandering for good measure), I think he can pull it off.

The fuck are you blathering about? The unemployment rate ticked UPWARD last month. Nothing is getting better. One state's RE market improves a bit and you think anyone outside of Florida gives a shit?

I'd call Cracker Jack and ask for a refund on that MBA of yours. You continue to prove just how fucking stupid you are. I actually laugh while reading your posts now because I know they're guaranteed to be completely disconnected from reality. It's not even good trolling.

Rick scott -
With 9,200 jobs created last month, a total of 99,600 private sector jobs have been added since my first day in office. I’m also happy to report that our unemployment rate has declined for 11 consecutive months.

Wisconsin has had job growth too. But nobody, except maybe 240, is cracked enough in the skull to think it's because of Obama.

How do you measure that?

When the tax info was released, Romney gave a much larger percentage to charity than Obama.  If it's policy you're talking about...I'd like to see it.  If all you've is Obamacare...I think that's fairly thin evidence.  Big Wallstreet seems to love Barry (just in my opinion).

Romney for the win.

Getting an extremely unpopular piece of legislation declared constitutional by sheer stupidity and legal fiction won't suddenly change everyone's mind-- especially since now the whole law amounts to one big tax hike on the country.

I feel as if the silent majority will awaken circa midterm 2010.

I also can't wait for the debates.
