Honestly the solution is to administer the same as Colombias, make a deal with the right cartel

Haha, I don't know yeah the drug exports went down x% but then Peru drug export went up the same x%. So it seems they took our $ and just sent it out of Peru instead

The PRI party was the one that looked the other way when the cartels began gaining power in Mexico. The PRI party had control of Mexico for over 70 years, got knocked out of power when president (6 year term..one time only) Fox was elected in 2000 and now are back in control. Too bad for Mexico. The PRI party is know as the party of "The Bite". They will be a very, very good partner with the drug cartels. And still bad for the people of Mexico.

Mexico is a very wealthy country, with oil, natural resources and being into heavy trade (US is a strong partner).

The drug war will not stop if American decide to make soft drugs, like pot, legal. Mexico has the rest of the world as potential customers.

The new presidents wife is a extremely popular actress, seen almost daily on TV, in Mexico and the rest of Latin America , including Brazil. Not surprise quite a few voted for the new present because of her. Like Eva Peron, in Argentina, a former actress and possible street working girl.
